I have had many "firsts" with Mr. Aiden. His mom's maternity session when she was pregnant with him was my first photo shoot ever. When he was born I did my first newborn shoot. Now he's turning one and he's my first smash cake session. Happy Birthday Aiden!! I've had a great year with you!!

Miss A ~ Christine Jones Photography | Children's Photographer | Memphis TN
Oh My Goodness! This little girl is absolutely precious. She just turned one year old and we took her to the Memphis Botanic Garden to capture this important milestone. I have all boys and spending the day with this sweet little girl was wonderful. The weather was great and Miss A was perfect! Here are some pictures from our fabulous day...

Christine Jones Photographer | Children Photographer | Memphis, TN
A little over a week ago I participated in the Germantown Festival in my hometown. It's a fun, two day festival with vendors from all across the country. I met Amanda there and she asked about my portrait business. A few days later she asked if I would take pictures of her three month old little boy. Yes! What could be better?
This little guy is so cute. His mom(Amanda)and dad (Steve)brought him to the Botanic Garden for our shoot. Amanda & Steve are originally from Michigan. They are back in Tennessee after living in Texas for a while. They have only been back two weeks. How lucky am I that Amanda stopped by my booth? Amanda & Steve are great. They are super parents. They knew exactly what Baby M needed. They were so much help to me also during the shoot. It was a great afternoon.

Week 32: i♥faces Surprise! Photo Challenge
This is a picture of my youngest son as he stepped into the spray of the sprinkler. I love the look on his face. He loves the sprinkler but has this same shocked look every time. I'm entering it into iheartfaces Surprise! photo challenge.

On a Winter's Day

My husband watches our 3 boys on Saturdays for a few hours so I can get out of the house. Last week we had an ice storm and that Saturday I ventured out to take some pictures. I've only had my camera for a year and I didn't realize how hard it is to capture an icy wonderland. It looks so pretty to the eye but I haven't figured out how to photograph it.
Well not wanting to waste my free time and really craving some creative expression, I went and bought some roses. It was about 30 degrees outside so I sat in the parking lot in my car and took pictures of the flowers. The pictures turned out okay. Here's one...

As I was driving home, I passed a field with some ice-covered trees. I pulled over to try to get some good shots but just wasn't happy with any of them. Then I eyed it...a beautiful, old, slightly rusted tractor sitting in the middle of the field. I grabbed the roses and made my way to the tractor. Here's a few of the shots I got..

I had such a great day and I've been enjoying the gorgeous roses all week.
